The original sound bank includes 7 surfaces for 5 types of shoes with several variations like walk, break, scuff, tread and clumsiness. In addition the sound designer can control some parameters like pitch, envelope, distance and of course he can use a midi device to trigger footsteps.

With my teammate F.Collet, we were in charge to design and create a prototype with Pure Data. And in the same time we performed, recorded and edited (a lot of) footsteps for the sound bank.
